Yep, same area, slightly different perspective, about 5 minutes later... another 5 minutes, and it was all but gone from view completely. Did some using the light from the sunrise, yesterday morning... and the night before, using the ambient light of the full moon as a source... Will post them later.

Greaper...Now this is one beautiful photographic image. I love how smoothly the colors follow the gradients from yellow through orange to purple. Warmth counter balancing the cooler tones. The distortion in the reflections, the composition... Simply beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words. The incomming rain diffused the color nicely. 2 minutes later I got WET.

    A few sunsets
4712890-L.jpglast weekend, and I never am around for a sunset. In here where I live with the townhouses, suburbia, and the only place in MT pleasant not on the water, I don't see those things. And I don't get up that early, nor am I out at the right time either. I have never been big on scenics, so......... But I was quite proud of last weeks sunsets, first off, I don't think I had even seen one for a year.
ginger The one up there with the tree is the one I was really nuts over. I can't "do" trees, but this was just a gimme. Those are oyster shells at the bottom.
