I decided to upgrade our old tube TV. After much shopping, last weekend I ended up getting a 46" Sony LED 3D TV. We got it for the internet features not really the 3d. It turns out that it has some cool photo ability too. It has an integrated slideshow feature. I plugged a card reader into the USB port on the Tv and played a slideshow. Cool! And the pictures look great. I am used to my old TV making photos look like poop. It looks as good as my computer monitor. For parties this thing will be a giant digital picture frame.

On a side note, Netflix on this thing rocks. I think on sunday night, regular cable TV died for me. Goodbye premium channels.

I have a 46" Sony in the bedroom that we've had for 6 years now. Can't tell it from new.

    Enjoy. :ivar

If your experience is anything like mine, half the conversations at your next party will be people asking you about the pictures as they go by on the TV. I do like this feature during parties, as it keeps the TV from being a big black hole in the room.
