Nice!!! I finally had two seconds to look at them! I may be buggin you for some 'flash specs' the colours are awesome! Alot of the SX pics i see are muted - not these! The d700 shines again - the user had something to do with it too!!! mwink.gif

I still have to get around to doing a gallery of what my May has held for me! Soon....

Ahh.. remember.. some of these are shot outdoors in the daylight.

With that said, the lighting and color is way better than his NO SX stuff.

    And.. d700 shines? Hmmm..

I believe, and I'm biased of course, that my NO SX lighting/colors were spot on and made that same D700 look......not so gleaming. :Dwings.gif

Now this sounds like a Canon owner talkin!!! I am a fan of the D700, what can I say! Did you post a few of your SX stuff? Dont get me wrong here - not trying to get a good ole Nkon vs Canon thing going mwink.gif

Bottom line - who ever has track access to shoot has my vote! Sigh... always next year!

    Well of course I'm a Canon shooter..clap.gif

I was just playing with ol Russ here..we both shot at N.O.

You can find mine on my site or probably a bunch of pages back.

I know you think track access is the bomb... but in reality? If I could roam the stands all race, and I had to choose one or the other.. I'd choose that over the floor any day. Live and learn!

Track/floor is good, you can get some shots that others can't get, but IMHO, if you can get in the "wells" around the track....shoot with a 300 or 400 2.8....I think that would be the best bet.

If you don't mind me asking, what lens do you use for the action shots? Great pics!

    Wow!
    Spectacular!

I really like number six from the top. I swear it looks three dimensional. The front wheel and spoke seem to be coming out of the picture.

    Really great stuff!
