Captured these at Homosassa Springs wildlife preserve. This guy sat around looking grumpy and ruffling his feathers the whole time. The bluish tinge in some of the white feathers is due to white balance being a bit low but I like it and left it unchanged.
C&C appreciated (I've been away from photography for quite a while).

    Boy, Jack, I love the vibrant colors, great background, terrific detail, and those eyes! One of my professors decades ago looked a lot like your bird. Best, Pam

    Great shots Jack. The detail is fantastic. I agree with you about the slight bluish tinge. Looks good!

    These are beautiful. Of the two I prefer the second shot.

    Beautiful captures, especially the eyes, such amazing detail. Do you mind my asking what hardware (Body and lens setup) you used to capture these? I'm just a little curious.
