Carizzo Plains, CA -- Wildflowers

I headed out to Carizzo Plains National Monument in CA on Friday as a pre-shoot to the Dgrin shootout which I'm not going to be able to make. I was not overwhelmed with the variety of flowers that I saw there, although I did have fun shooting what I did find and exploring the area.

Even though it was probably too early to see more variety of flowers, it was a fun little road trip anyway.

I like #7 the most out of the set and #9 is just hilarious.

All wonderful images! Looked you had a fun time with all the variety. I like the "cool junk" shot, especially with those ominous clouds.

You're getting me excited about the trip! It's an odd year for the flowers, no doubt.
