Delete single photo loses position in gallery

If I display a photo in the Smugmug view, then select Tools/This Photo/Delete and then confirm so it deletes, it returns me to the first photo in the gallery. This is a horrible waste of time when you're trying to go through the gallery and delete various photos. It should leave on the next photo after the one you deleted so you can continue going through the gallery rather than having to find your place in the gallery all over again after EVERY delete.

Note: there are good reasons that one can't necessarily use the multiple delete UI (primarily, you can't browse the larger sizes of the images, but also can't see keywords, full filename, etc...) to solve this problem.
