A wedding gallery...

I don't do many weddings anymore but did one this last weekend. It was supposed to be outside photography for the most part with an inside ceremony and reception. Well mother nature did not co-operate. We had about 20 minutes outside at just the right time, then it opened up again. Dark Dark Dark in the indoor venue, mix of flash and ambient. Had mostly 1 flash on camera bracket. Indoor formals shot with off camera sb800 and the d700 in commander mode.
The ladies showed up an hour late so all the photography was rush rush rush....but we got er done.
A lot of the indoor ambient shots were with the 35 1.8 on the d700. That crop lens does pretty well on full frame. Anyway here is the gallery if anyone fancies a look, lots of pictures:

You never would have guessed that it was so dark. I really like the ring shot on the ice and the first portrait against the dark wood paneling. The one thing I personally didn't really care for was the sort of pinky desaturated processing on some of them.

Thanks for having a look Met. I don't like it either but the customers love that desaturated look, I much prefer the straight black and white....a little variety is good.

Thanks for having a look.
All the stuff that needs to be in order, is toward the bottom. The ceremony is all in chronological order and it is at the bottom of the gallery.
Most people only look at the first 10 pictures of the gallery so I front load the gallery with favorites.

That portrait of the groom is total awesome sauce. Love it. Like the whole bunch, looks like a location I would have had fun shooting. Thanks for sharing.
