In order to get the focus right I pre-focused on the umbrella tip, lined up my eyes in position with the umbrella tip, used a remote to fire.

    Yup, 1 is lit very, very well. For some reason, looks like something a modern DaVinci would do. Like it a lot.

    EDIT: #1 is overall better.
    However, #2 the face on shot has that scary vibe, it gives me a chill--but the girlish profile is sweet and I get past the scary part quickly.
    Please, I'm not saying she's scary, just you shot it just right to be intense/scary. Like she has potential to go insane.

    Now are you trying to show her frightening potential to go crazy side vs. her normal sweet side?
    Jack NIcholson before and after he goes crazy?:)
