Since I tend to shoot and show panoramics, today I'm limiting myself to just vertical shots. Of course, there is a lot more (including a wicked pano) on my site...

1. If you look closely, you can see that he is putting on her ring while saying "I love you" as a lady bug is on her hand. Wait... no.. I'm making this all up :)

Ha ha! That is why I like a good 10 thread! There is so often something you just have to wonder how he did it. Looks to me like turning the camera during a long exposure. Existing/hot light on the blossoms and flash on the b&g. Great expressions there too! 2 is an awesome comp and I like that one a lot also.

    Thanks for posting these!

Existing photo/painting backgrounds? Crazy camera movements and hot lights? Wow you guys are giving me WAAAY too much credit here.

Occam's razor tells us that all I did was take a picture of the couple with a fast lens. The dogwood tree behind the couple is closest to the couple at the center of the frame - that's what gives it a crazy shape/bokeh. Add a well lit umbrella and an 85 at 1.2 and you have this. I have found that good lighting a 1.2 makes the subject really pop & get sharp.

I like the perspective in the second shot and the dogwoods in the third. The dramatic light in the 4th is awesome too.

Ha! Or a, yeah... could just be fast glass too! What do you expect Pat? You usually have something up your sleeve!

After looking a 2nd time I was thinking the shadows weren't heavy enough, indicating the scene wasn't dark enough to pull that off and the couple wouldn't be that sharp. Thanks for playing along!!!

I'm in love with all of these! <3<3<3

2 probably the most though since I'm a sucker for a gorgeous mountain background.
