I am on vacation and do not have very good choice of monitors to look at these images. So I really need help in deciding which is the best of these images. I need to know if color is ok and if the the lightning shots are too noisy or not. So please help me decide if any of these are worthy for this challenge.

3 is interesting. i can't tell exactly what it is, but I like it....
4 is a good capture and nice color although the front porch light is distracting.
5 looks like a waterfall in the sky.

    I like #2

#4 and #5 are nice, but the two bright objects in the foreground are distracting.

My choices would be #3 then #2. For some reason I like the vertical lines and many shapes in #2, something in every corner....

Good you asked about the color, etc. from what I see, #2 is your best bet. In the others, for instance grazing is a gass, it is hard to tell what is grazing exactly. same with the fish thing..too small of objects. The lightening is interesting, but it doesn't trump that beautiful landscape in #2.

I kinda like the hidden grazers in #1, but the blue of the sky in #2 is very beautiful. I like the lines & shapes in #3, but the color seems bland compared to #1 or #2. Nice catch on the lightning, but I still prefer #2.

Thank you all so much for your input! I got a feeling that maybe I have dated myself on the grazin' one, it seems that no one got the song title to the picture. I don't remember who sung it but its a catchy tune from my younger days. Its not really talking about grazing regular grass either, but the lyrics fit the image so well with the cows almost fading into the grass.... makes me giggle... ;) Your going to have to look up the lyrics if you don't know it.

Ok...I will keep 2 as my top runner for going in. It just that I know that there are others entries in the album that are superb and I have to do much better than this to compete with them! So I still have a weekend to go!

    From Wikipedia

    Grazing in the Grass
" is an instrumental composed by Philemon Hou and first recorded by the South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela. It is recognizable by its prominent cowbell part. Released in the United States as a single in 1968, it hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.[1]

It sure is mellow grazin' in the grass

What a trip just watchin' as the world goes past
(Grazin' in the grass is a gas, baby, can you dig it)
There are so many good things to see
    While grazin' in the grass

    Flowers with colours for takin'
Everything outta sight in the grass

#3 fascinates me the most out of the entire set. The lighting is nice, I love all the shapes and neutral colors. I have no idea what it is but I like looking at it. rolleyes1.gif

I fiound that 2 caught my eye best. I find 3 compelling but I am a landscape junkie so I lean that way.

thanks all for your responses! I have loaded #2 into the challenge album. Thank you so much for those who commented on color and such, as all the images are being seen on a horrible screen here. I travel back home on Monday night so will be able to vote when I get home on a calibrated screen.

FWIW, I like 3 or 3b the best. I would go for #4 Zap in a heartbeat if pp was allowed and you could crop off the door at the left. I like #2 but wonder if it would be stronger with a bit less sky at the top? With this challenge being SOOC, I would think that 3 or 3b is stronger but know that there is variety in which shots folks prefer.

For me, #3c and then #2. #2 is gorgeous, but #3c is different.

I have never seen the sculpture in #3. Where is it? There are some funky Rube Goldberg contraptions in terminal A at Seatac.
