    Welcome back Pyro!

Very nice images. I think my favs. are 2, 5, 6 and 7, but I like best #7, because of the action :)

I'm not sure… isn't #2 a little too dark in the bottles area? - I'm asking just because
I don't know too much about "low key" photography...

Hey Pyro, Like 1 and 7 the best but #7 best of the 2. What is under that pebble? 1 is cool but find the background noise a bit distracting.

Thanks guys. yeah I was shooting #1 handheld and not from my SLR so it's a bit noisy. I like 7 too. We met this lillte guy (girl?) on our way down into the Grand Canyon, and he was totally unafraid. Just kept digging at the ground while we were a few feet away.

I like #1 and 2, but the noise is a bit distracting from the strong subjects. #5 is nicely balances as a comp and through the range of grayscale, but the tree on the left and the blown highlight at the bottom detracts a little for me.

With that in mind. I'd vote for #7 and the mystery of what's under the pebble.

Welcome back, Pyro! #2 is my favorite. I love the simple lines against the black.
