SOOC #79 - First entry

I thought this challenge was pretty cool, so I thought I would enter for the first time. Here are some pictures from last night when the kiddos played with some potting soil. Any thoughts? I appreciate the input. Thanks!

    My faves are #'s 4 + 5 in terms of overall composition. #3 has cute expression but not wild about her head cut off at top. Adorable BTW! GP

    I agree - 4 & 5 are the best of the batch. I like how serious/proud she looks in those shots.

    All the shots seem a little over exposed - the shirt is blown out in them.

    I really like 4 and 5 as well, with the slight edge to 5. Cute kid!

    Thanks guys! My favorite was actually #1, but it seems the concensus for the challenge may be #5.

    I usually add +.3 exposure compensation, because I feel like my camera underexposes a little. I guess with the dark background I overshot it a bit... Oh well. Live and learn.

    Welcome!!! Really fun shots but I think #2 and #4 are my favorites. #2 - she's really happy with her work, and #4 - very engaged in whatever she's doing with that potting soil. Great job and welcome again to the challenges.

    What a fun set! I'm partial to #5 and #4 in that order, although it my reverse at a moments notice (already has several times ne_nau.gif)

    Thanks all! After reviewing the feedback, I've decided to go with #4 for this one.

    Really like the composition of #5 and her expression but also like #4. Very cute!

    Welcome, pickerbw! What a cutie! I like her smile in #5 and her focus in #4. Either choice is good.
