Blogged.

There are stories trying to get here and afterwards, most of it is a lot of .. drama (sadly) Some of you know what I mean and I rather not dish it here.

But we still had a great time here in Isla Mujeres!

The jewelry lady... sniffed me. I mean smelled me. Eliza and her mom to the rescue! Boy was that awkward! I was a little scared to say the least. I remembered to put deodorant on! I swear!

Maybe he was joking, but, he thought I never photographed a dude still in his boxers. Uhm... Eliza, didn't you show him the bathtub scene?? :wink

As I am pretty excited over my deliverable idea (and since I can't blog till they receive it...) I will share it here. I doubt they know about dgrin or will bother with googling.. I can't post it on the fb as I don't want them to see it till they have it in their hands.

I wish i would have let Andy wear his hiking sandals to our wedding...actually wish we were on a beach and didn't have shoes on at all.

I know i have told you this before, but great stuff.

glad you didn't get caught in customs with those rocks :)

I had other stuff that they didn't catch... Wait.. duty free tequila and other fun alcohol counts as a free pass, right?

Hey Ted! These are really nice. Although I really don't care for the shadows in 11 and 12 on the stark white wall. Just not my cup, but there are some great moments throughout, and I especially love #9... great idea and I will be stealing that one for sure at some point when the opportunity presents!!!

edit to say I love the box, but I shudder to think what that set you back!

I didn't get that much time, for B&Gs, to play with this so I didn't position her brother with the flash to minimize the shadows. Or I could have maximized the shadows by having him hold the flash down to get the shadows cast upwards.

I was in a real pinch for time... sadly. BUT! I am happy with what I got, as are they so its all good.

The box and the items inside was a pretty penny, but, it was worth the cost. Hopefully she gets over the "can't write on the postcards" and sends them out to people...

I've only just spotted these but just wanted to say I think they are great! IMHO the first half are stronger than the 2nd but all good.

I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.

REALLY nice set of photographs Ted.thumb.gif

    Now....as to the box....

Where'd it come from? What...exactly is inside? Gimme the skinny on that!....in a PM if you must!mwink.gif

....being a pj fan and all, I really dig #3....and those shots that precede it. I like the airy-ness......and the retro feel that they ooze.thumb.gif

Thanks for the kind words, Jeff!

I don't mind sharing what most of what is inside the box!

I left some items out of the magic box image. But... the green box (Bride had green heels and the groom's favorite color is green) with an lustre print embedded on the bottom of the cover, physical souvenirs from the island (I almost never buy things from a country I visit for memory, I either photograph the hell out of it as I did there or pick up some rocks/shells) postcards made from images that I took, the DVD case with the images, and items that are more personal to John and Eliza.
