    I like #2 (the photo, not the creature...I HATE spiders). I'm not too fond of the double image in #1 or the background of #3.

    I kinda like the effect of the double image, but #2 is such a much better, crisper image that it makes #1 look weak. I agree with Kate that the background of #3 doesn't work well - the web gets lost in it. I'm not fond of spiders either, but #2 is a very nice shot.

    I agree, too. We call these rick-rack spiders or writer spiders around here. I like them because they spin webs usually close to the ground (so you don't walk into them) and because they rarely leave their webs (so I don't find them crawling around my garage).

    #2 is great - the spider is sharp and the background colours enhance it. The colours in #3 wash the spider out. Find the double image of #1 distracting.
