I like the texture and the detail on the shot, Craig. I wish I could see more of the opening of the homestead on the shot but still a very awesome IR shot from you. thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif

Pretty keen result. Lovely image. Thoughtfully composed and skillfully processed. As was your other recently shared IR.
Both easily allow me to ponder their stories without knowing what they are.

Spectacular! Admittedly it took me awhile to "warm up" to it... The more I looked at it, took in the details that I missed in the beginning, the more I liked it. Cool shot!

It's always a pleasure to see the master at work. Got yourself another winner here, Craig.clap.gifclap

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

You mean there is someplace in the US that isn't HOT??!!! If the NM high country is cooler, then I will take up backpacking right now. I don't know how ya'll stand it in the Metroplex--it's only 101 or so down here. How many days in a row now?

Great shot, Craig! I really like this one a lot. I agree with everyone's comment about the texture--so many layers of it that really pop out.

On the Heat, finally got a break Wednesday, of course is broke our
over 100 degree streak and the chance at the Record.
One day short of the tying the record of 41 days,
kind of an insult after being brutalized for 40 days of over 100 degrees.

This morning we were amazed to see it Sprinkling, hope it does it all day long, can't even remember
    since it rained last time.
    Take care,

    Craig

Someone sent me a picture of rain in Alabama today--I looked at our weather chart this morning and saw that we've had 6 in of rain since Jan 1, not even a trace this month. I hope you got more than a sprinkle.

    Howdy Lauren,

I think we've actually had more rain this year than Ya'll.

They are reporting that DFW Airport got .86 of an inch, not sure
we got that much, we're South of Fort Worth out in the Country some :D

Would sure be nice to get a little rain each week, things are so stressed from the Plant/Shrubs/Trees
    to all the Animals/Birds.

Tough season for sure this year.
    Take care,

    Craig
