Hi all,

Been trawling the forums admiring the vast numbers of awesome and inspiring photos. I've decided to join up recently and share some of my own shots as well. I use HDR a fair bit as well but do believe that I still have much to learn in terms of control. In any event, hope you guys enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed your works! Constructive C&C most welcome! Cheers

    7. The Marina Bay Sands

Taken during pre-dawn hours. Waters were very still enabling the reflections.

No black card so I used a 10-stop filter instead. Thought it worked as well.

Lovely skies this evening. Thought I'd try out some HDR, long exposure and vertorama all thrown in.

    Yes please! LOVE these.

The first two photos are particularly interesting- I think you've done a really good job with those. I'd have bombed them halfway to Tuesday.

Just another from the same series I took. Treated the skies to a little more fire given the lovely sunset that beautiful evening.

Hey Fiber, I hadn't seen this thread before, so I'm glad you bumped it. Nice work! That first one of the snow storm is a knock-out, and #9 really caught my eye as well. But the whole set is very good. thumb.gif

Hey Joel, thanks for dropping by and going through my images. glad ya liked it! just started with seriously shooting landscapes about a month back so just pushing myself to get out there and shoot as much as possible.

#9 is my personal fav too. it's a vertorama, HDR'ed and took about 9 images to get that effect. some parts had to be manually blended as well and i had to search for the nicest set of rocks I could find on the beach. took lotsa effort and I am personally very happy with it. and I am glad you liked it too! cheers
