It's been many months since I last saw a Screech Owl in my back yard, so I was very pleased to hear this one calling a few moments ago.

The Eastern Screech Owl may be small, but it is an impressive little hunter and a beautiful bird.

Ooooh, awesome captures, especially the first one! clap.gif I want to lift that little owl right out of the image and take it home ;)

Such a beautiful bird. I would LOVE to have owls (of any kind) in my back yard. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all for the comments. The Screech Owls are a common experience in my back yard at night, however I never see them in the daylight. I wonder where they are roosting during the daylight hours.......

WOW what terrific captures. Before our area became overdeveloped, we had nighty visits from 2 of the larger owls. Miss hearing and seeing them.
