It will hold a lot of weight, but I priced shipping and it is ourragous. Its about 11.00 for the shipping because it's so bulky and almost 5 pounds. I think I have to sell it locally.

We are pretty far apart distance wise :D The shipping costs don't bother me. No matter what .. shipping is expensive.

What brand is the tripod -- Can you link me to any info about it?

    Mary,

I haven't been ignoring you. I'm looking for any information on this tripod. There is no marking on the tripod and I can't seem to find anything like it on the web.

    Hi ...

    I know you weren't ignoring me :D

I tried setting my tripod up by my hubby's work bench (which is higher) and that seems to be working ok. Just as long as I have the legs situated right. So I think I'll go this route for awhile and see if I really like it.

Thanks tho for checking on any info you could find on it. Much appreciated :D

Good luck with selling it. I'm sure it will sell soon.
