Has anything changed at the Slot Canyon (Lower) since Oct 2010?

My fellow news photographer is doing a road trip and he's looking at going some of the places I went, Page and Lower Antelope Canyon included. He couldn't find anything about photo passes for lower like I had last year.... I see there is now a 2 hr limit as of April of this year, but nothing else... What he said he found said guides are required now, but as of last year that was only for tours, not photographers. Anyone on the area or been there recently that can shed some light on this?

    I havent been up there in a while but I can see them doing that to help the tour operators. Part of the reason I never go there much is you cant just walk in. I prefer Rainbow Bridge when it comes to the Navajo Parks. The clans in the Antelope Canyon area are just milking it for all they can get.
