One of the things I really liked about the videos was the transition between the two shots - it was very hard to tell where one shot stopped & the other began. So on the first two shots, I've combined two different motion shots - does this work for Orton? Or would either of the images I combined work better separately (#3 & #4)?

And the colors of number 2 make me thing for all the world of the inside of a shell....the texture helps with that comparison, too...

Thanks for all the comments Kate, Leah, Chad & Chris! Are the spots on #4 not bothersome? I didn't realize how dirty my filter was when I took these shots! Aaarrgh. I hope I can play some more with this with a clean lens. I'm not sure how I got that effect in #4, hope I can recreate it!

I like #1 and #4 best... but I would try and fix the spots on #4. :)

My favorite is #4. Love the lines and colors.

Not sure that #1 or #2 would work for this challenge as the parameters seem to be just one exposure for motion effect images. I think Orton does sometimes combine two unrelated motion effect shots - hoping for some interesting color combinations - but I don't think that's an option with this challenge. Of the first two images, I prefer #1. :D
