orton two ways... first experiments

I'd never heard of Orton or tried this before, but there seem to be two approaches - blurred motion of recognizable objects, and pure abstract...

It's been pouring here, so I've got some rainy, gloomy shots.
Set A:

I have a re-usable bag with a bunch of brightly colored squares, indoors, in good light.

    Fun to see these two very different sets of images! I like the soft colors of the last three images and the "painterly" feel to these images, to use a word found on Orton's website. I like B-1 and B-3 best of the ones you've posted here, but wonder whether they would be stronger if a bit was cropped from one side (right side on B-1 and left on B-3) to move the focal point a bit more off center. Just a thought.
