    I think the zebra looks good in black and white, it makes the photo a little more dramatic.

    I to like the B&W image it allows the zebra to stand out more.

    The Black/White rendition plus he cropping made it really good.

    Usually I would go B&W but here I like the color version. The color version has a bit more "pop" to it. The B&W has more potential but needs some contrast adjustmenst to give it real pop. I would have tried to lighten the BG a tad to have your subject stand out more.

    I like the comp but I'm not crazy about the zebra's head angle. The eyes are too obscured.

    Thanks for that...I am not totally convinced by the image as a whole, to be honest. The zebra were not really helping, and refused to get into a decent position! They're not poseable, unfortunately! :)
    There will be more trips to the Wildlife park in the not too distant future, so it's definitely one I can work on.

    Hands down B&W. The colors distract from your subject. IMHO....

    I know better than to post a pic in someone else's thread, but you reminded me of a shot I used last Christmas. Guess I'm squarely in the 'not black and white' camp.
