    It looks much better here than when I took it. I wanted to try it. I composed it and though it would probably suck. I looked through the viewfinder and thought, yeah this is going to suck, but I've already got them here. Then I snapped the shutter, looked at my LCD and said out loud "Wow, that sucks."

    When I got back to a computer, I switched to " ...its not that bad""

    Maybe I should have given him a fedora?

    Yeah, that rim light in #1 is pretty fantastic. Great job. I'm sure you're quick at setting all these kinds of shots up?

    That was shot with my Quadra in the standard reflector (or maybe bare bulb, I can't remember) aimed right at the couple just behind them.

    thanks Nelson ~ I'm getting faster, but it still takes time to walk. Unfortunately with any rain this location will flood too, so it makes it difficult to move too quickly here - lots and lots of mud. Either way, this is still a "setup shot" and not photojournalism.

    Reason for asking is I see they're in there wedding attire, is this on the day? Usually on the day, there's a small window of time to get all the formal stuff done.

    In that case Nelson, no I am super slow :) I generally reserve a couple of hours to travel around the park and get the photographs that I do. It takes time to drive and travel around (plus getting in and out of the car) and I do not like to rush a couple (no need to add stress). It's all about creating the time necessary to get the photographs you want ;)

    #3 is a wow...would not categorize under anything regarding the word suck. :)
