Tuesday was a dreadful day, overcast with dense low cloud. Despite this, I took another birder around some of the local wildlife sites and took some photographs despite the poor conditions.
One sequence that I want to share with you is this Herring Gull eating a crab on the Langstone Harbour seafront at the Oysterbeds.

All that was left was a lump in the throat as the crab was swallowed whole.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thank you Harry. The problem is getting the colours out - an almost imposible task in these conditions.

I know that all too well. We can only deal with the conditions we get and you did that very well.
