So I was cleaning out the garage and found an album that contained really old photographs and postcards from the early 1900's. These pictures and postcards were collected by my great or uncle who lived during those times.

Some pretty cool stuff here. Can you identify which are postcards vs photos?

#5 must have Yerba Buena Island in the bay before Treasure Island existed. Love the ships. #12 should be the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. The Palace of Fine Arts (left in the photo) is from that event (only nine years after the '06 quake). In #14, The Linen House has a Japanese name as the proprietor. Wonder if it was a casualty of Japanese-American relocation in WWII. And it also shows plenty of parking in Chinatown!

These are great! Thank you for sharing them. Do you know in what year #5 was taken? I'm just curious how many years after the earthquake it was taken.

I really have no clue, no dates on the back of the photos. As for the post card ones, only some had stamps on the back, I think # 6&12 are postcards? I am also thinking the color ones are too, but they were pretty big to be postcards, minus #12. I still have a lot to scan. I even have slides I want to scan of my Grandpa and his brother when they joined the army in WW2 and served during the Korean war.
