Still early in the season and they are a bit skittish. Later in the season they are easier to approach. But does not keep me from trying.

    Let me know if you need location info. They are just over the hill from you. Merced NWR, Consumnes River Preserve, and up by Chico. Let me know if you want a tour guide:D

    You're not kidding. Merced NWR is practically in my backyard. I used to windsurf at San Luis Reservoir right near there. I will definitely be checking it out. I'd love to hook up some time with you. thumb.gif
