They both made me say "Wow". Fantastic! I'd love to see #2 cropped some~

Now I know I don't stand a chance in this MC!

Beautiful shots Greg. The timing could not have been better.

These 2 shots are absolutely gorgeous! Not really seeing much of the theme though ne_nau.gif If the ferry was pulling away, or someone was running down the pier to catch it... that would be perfect! :D

Gorgeous shots. Especially love the first one but like the concept of the second for the mega theme. Both are shot late in the day(light) or early evening, but the second adds another late element. Perhaps call it "Don't miss the boat!"

These are both incredibly gorgeous! Either would work, IMO.

I entered #1, but let me throw two more at you, asking about Challenge-worthiness, and also asking which image, beyond the scope of the challenge, you'd rather hang on your wall. I'm going to print these for an upcoming gallery show, but I cannot decide between the hyper-colored HDR one, or the same converted to B&W? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Greg,

Terrific stuff, as usual. For my 2 cent (and as much as I love B&W) the color adds a lot to this shot. In B&W, the lack of color on the horizon loses some of the time context for me. And the red foreground boat works better as a focal point. Someone's got a lucky wall coming up....

It's really nice in B&W; but it's absolutely gorgeous in living color!

Each of these is absolutely beautiful Greg! Your technique and processing is masterful, to say the least!

But, as beautiful as these are, I have to rock the boat, so to speak, to say I don't get 'Late' from these. Because of the mirror-like water, it says Early to me.

Rock away! I totally hear you. Will keep a watch for more. The moon has been so bright, it's been tough for me to get a celestial shot, which I love to do.
