Last month a was in Florida for 10 days, and I have to say the migration of birds was slow, I guess due to weather and mother nature itself. The places that I have been in the past had nothing there and yet a small park we went to that has been slow in the past was a hit this year.

Here are a couple from this years trip, and more to come.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I like them both--the first one for the dramatic frog capture, and the second for the bird's expression and the soft BG. Did you use a flash? Such nice detail in both! Best, Pam

Thanks Pam for the comments on these 2 images. It seems that the frog jumped in as one leg is already in the beak.

The lighting was so nice at the time when I took this image, has a nice soft background as you mentioned and no flash was used on these images. I prefer not to use flash on birds if I can help it, and in Florida the lighting is so nice compared to here up in Canada.
