    In person, probably yes, but I didn't notice in the pic rainbow posted and I'm guessing if this one had been the first, I wouldn't have noticed either. I've also posted shots in which people thought mimes were statues, so it works both ways.

    I meant this is the policy of the Stanford Cantor museum. Other places have different rules of course :-)

    Some museums now even say "no photography... NO SKETCHING" !!!

    Special exhibits have their own rooms. Well, I'm never blatant about it. I do not take photos if there are signs that says "No photography." I also checked Cantor's policy and there is no general no photo policy so I figure I can take photos unless explicitly told otherwise. However, I know some guards can be very... bossy so I just don't take photos when they are around.
