I am figuring it has to do with the fact that DGRIN is a lifeline for help with SmugMug and other photography issues...not just a social forum.....could be wrong...but I know for me if I was in need of help and DGRIN was blacked out for a protest, I would be madder than hell ... ... ...and off to find a replacement for my SM account.

We have a protest on our SmugMug homepage (and it'll be expanded, soon) and we have protested on our SmugMug Facebook page and our SmugMug News Blog. More coming.

Dgrin is a direct-support portal for many SmugMug customers and that could be problematic if we blacked it out.

Good job. I did not know about sopa but it could put services like smugmug out of business I now realize.
