    I'm gonna guess he means backgrounds... ;)

    John, 4b (you have two fours) is potentially STUNNING and the best of the set IMO. Lose the thing at the front left - crop/clone it out as it does NOTHING to set the scene and takes away from that great pose with the statue - and you could also try adding a light vignette to focus attention even more on her.

    In 4a, I certainly don't want to see poolside dude behind her, blurred or not. CROP HIM OUT rolleyes1.gif. Actually, I'd come right in on this one so we get just her plus the watersplash - I'm not at home so can't show you what I mean (no software), but played with it in my browser window and that takes it much closer to "wow" thumb.gif

    I would agree with Diva... 4b has the potential to be one of my favorite pics I have seen of yours.

    Diva, you have NO idea how many people I had to clone out of these pool scenes. The one you like with the statue had one rather large woman in rear view right behind Mary, plus another guy in the deck chair reading a newspaper.

    I agree with the others, 4b....It's REALLY great...

    Now go back and soften the edge of that vignette on the rework....

    HALLELUJAH!! Now we're into awesomeness.

    I don't care how many you had to clone out to get a clean background, you just need the clean backgruond! One has to suffer for one's art.... rolleyes1.gif

    And yes, feather the vignette and make it smaller - that's way more than I was thinking (do you use LR? I was assuming so, where burning in the corners with a vignette is like a 2 second adjustment. If not, don't worry about it - the clone has fixed a lot).

    ETA: 4b would make a really cool pano crop, too. And if you're feeling REALLY clone-happy, lose the plant on the left and the hint of green/blobby thing on the right :D

    Nope Diva. that's the same one with the post cloned out. just the vignette was softened.
