I was recently in Durham, North Carolina and wanted to show a few images that put together, I believe, give a good sense of place. C&C is always appreciated.

Excellent set! Great light, color and detail. I love the reflection on the door of #2, but #7 is my favorite. I just noticed that my keyboard doesn't have ¢ character lol3.gif. What does #7 look like in color?

Nice eye and POV - great varied collection showing good exploration of your environment.
Really like the lines and repetition in #3 ... just wish the cars were either in or out. Love the great swathe of light through the middle.
Composition, colour and lines in #2 are really appealing - this one 'pops' nicely.
Agree with Richard about #7 - really intriguing. Lots of elements to keep my eye in the image.
Looks like you would have had an enjoyable day here.
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

I prefer the BW version. To me, it adds to the older feel of the place.

I definitely agree :D The color version does help define the place and let's you know what you would have actually seen. One spot of the color image that was very difficult to control was the hot spot in the upper right of the frame. That was much easier to bring under control in black and white.

    Cheers,
    Karl
