Your images have such sorrow and passion in them. I really enjoy your work and your countrymen.

I've been on those buses before ... thanks for bringing up the bad memories -- I'm having a flashback right now. :)

Bad memories ? ! I do not have that impression.
I was travelling in a tourist bus as this one stopped nearby and there I was with my camera to take their pictures. mwink.gif
What impresses me in India is that almost everybody has a very strong face. :D

    Thank you young man :)

It is an easy photograph to do. You just have to be there at right time and the right moment :)

Love the editorial feel here, and most definitely moving. What's the story behind the image?

This photo doesn't have a story behind.
I was traveling in a tourist bus when we stopped for some reason in the middle of the trafic. Then, this bus stopped near by and they all looked very curious about the tourists as you can see.

In these occasions - when I travel - I have the camera(s) ready all the time. I grabed it and made some photographs through the glass. If you look carefully you will see that it is not perfectly sharp. But it's value is not in technical specifications and precision but in the image itself.

If you really wish to read a real story here you have on.

Thank you Charles and Tim for your nice comments and interest bowdown.gifD

On top of the bus and at the same occasion

    YET ANOTHER powerful image.

Haven't really tried Antonio and if I did, I seriously doubt I would have anything close to your eye.
As for me, I am "stuck" working with people like this:

I like this shot, but I think it stands on its own without the extra processing. Great capture.

Just look at the difference between that shot and the shot on top of the bus. Are you saying you didn't process them differently?

Oh that is was you were meaning... I understand now. Sorry. :D

I wouldn't say I process them differently. How could I say so ? Have I ? Oh, sorry then. I didn't mean to.

Of course, if two photographs have two completely different settings - and by setting I mean , aperture, speed, ISO, lens etc - they must have two different treatments, don't you agree ?

    Of course you do... :D

Actually no. I consider the "treatment" to be independent of the camera settings. The first photo does not look straight-out-of-camera like the second.. That's all. Again, I think the first one is a great capture.

You can accept a compliment, right? Of course you can :D
