A few months ago, I was in Alaska off the coast of Ketchikan.. Looking for Eagles, but instead found these guys in the way, feeding off the rich Pacific Ocean..

Quite an adrenaline rush when you are only two feet of the water in a kayak smaller than the young calves..

Canon 1dIII, f6.3, 1/800, ISO400, 300mm

What an amazing experience this must have been! I would have been just as worried about the 1DIII camera that close to the water!
