PLEASE HELP - why is there glare from overhead lights?

Please tell my why there is sooo much glare from these overhead lights? How can I fix them and not have this when shooting interior images?

    Do you have a filter on the lens?

    You don't want one. Flare can be exacerbated by filters.

    Actually I do, its a rocketfish UV?? Do I need something different?

    Take the filter off and try again.

    lol..I read through the thread..and my 1st thought..filter..then no..I was wrong..then YES, I was right!
    D700, D600
    14-24 24-70 70-200mm (vr2)
    85 and 50 1.4
    45 PC and sb910 x2
