Natural light with the d700 70-200 at F4.
I don't usually get to shoot at this rock garden cause no shade but this day was nice and cloudy.
There is a lot of variety in her gallery, I doubt I picked her best shots to post here.

    I like 2,3,and 4.

2 is a very nice take on that classic pose. Well done.

3 has a nice 1960's feel to it. I'd play around with some IQ loss and grain to REALLY go for that look. Maybe lighten the black point a bit. A little less contrast?

    Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments.

3 actually started off like that, it was a bit washed out and blurry. Maybe I will try it with a bit of texture, I do like the old style look you describe....hmmmm

We had a lot of shots ruined this day by her wardrobe and the wind blowing her hair. I managed it pretty well with tossing her hair to the off wind side, but there were quite a few stray strands.
The shirt in three blended in to well with all the backgrounds, a camo effect.
Then the blue top was a bit to tight so in a lot of the poses there were large openings between the buttons, which for a high school girl ruined the shots.

We tried a couple jump shots in the Camo top...she tucked in her shirt and when she jumped she was just about coming out of the top of it...so brilliant me says "untuck the shirt and lets try one like that".....so of course (you girls know whats coming :))
she untucks it and gives a big jump right when a gust of wind hit and her shirt flies up over her head right when I click the shutter....ooops.
They were good sports about it, but still kind of embarrassing.
