Kitty, Mark II: Red Rock (18+)

After slightly disappointing poppy fields and a nice gratifying lunch at Sakura Buffet we decided to continue to push our luck and try another new place: Red Rock Canyon Park.
It's a fairly small park just off Hwy 14 North of Mojave. Formed by a typical erosion process (rain and wind), I'd say it's the next best thing to the famous Utah red rocks, while still relatively close to LA.

A friendly ranger in the park informed us that there are only two "picturesque" locations in the entire park, both very close to some parking spots. Technically, you can shoot *from* the parking spot.
But since our intent was to shoot us some nudes, we didn't want to impose on the other park patrons, even though some of them, like a group of a half a dozen college-age boys would surely appreciate the view:-). So we grabbed what little gear we had and hiked a few hundred yards up a wide and flat trail until we found a relatively easy way to sneak out of view of the hikers.

And there we started shooting again...

#1: I really liked how her buttocks looked in the fields, so we started with a "rear view":

#2: My orange chiffon was a perfect match again

#3: So we took a few more snaps with it

#4: After a while Kitty got down for her "perch", I changed my 70-200 to 16-35,
got real close to her and we started to shoot for some "accentuated effect"

#5: The softness of the fabric provided a nice contrast to the rugh surface of the sandstone

#6: We also used a multicolored scarf Kitty brought with her:

#7: Played with it for a few more frames:

#8: And we climaxed in an underwater cave: :-)

This whole "setup" reminded me of your famous pinetree shot from Bryce, I think it was '06 Shootout...
