    My stars. My very first thought was "I'm gonna need a bigger shoe."

    That setting makes it look as big as a tarantula. Wonderful illusion, great detail, and I like your choice of composition. It some how makes it seem more... menacing.

    Glad you enjoyed the bee.

    He was quite friendly but, as it was early spring, he was pretty mocus and slow.

    Thank you all for looking and commenting.

    This photo kind of made itself......I was cleaning my UV filter and had set the camera on the porch and the bee framed himself. All I had to do was dial in the exposure and press the shutter.
