That's pretty cool. Could you describe the setup a bit? Maybe show a pic of the rig?

I am currently only using my Iphone to send up until I get my proper rig which should be shortly. I used a home made picavet and attached it to a Didakite 2.7. Had an app on the phone to take interval shots every 5 seconds and managed to get the system up to about 250 feet.

Is a cool thing to do and you got nice returns for the effort. Great use for your "light" and capable phone thumb.gif in conjunction with your very neat kite. Horizon lines good and straight with nice sharp heel to toe. Would be interesting see your camera platform and attachment method to the kite :D

Out and about again today and managed to get this one. A great lesson learned which was to make sure you check you camera settings before you send it 300ft up in the air. I forgot that I was playing with the settings the night before and had everything else overexposed. Oh well that is how I learn I suppose. lol I have also included a photo of my rig as well. It has a Canon G1x attached to it so very sweet setup now.
