    Love it! It is a bit deceptive from this angle - a side view would have made it clear just how young this little future all star really is :)

    Sorry, it's tee ball, the first level of ball for kids here in the states, 5 - 7 years old is roughly the range. He is diving for home and you can see the tee they hit off from.

    So did he actually slide into home, or did he bounce? :D Even in my son's 10U kid-pitch league there are players who still don't know how to properly slide, sometimes resulting in a "bounce into home plate" instead of a slide... Laughing.gif

    I know what you mean by bouncing in!! This kid was amazing. Out of the corner of my eye I caught him sliding into third. Perfect slide, foot touched the base and he popped right up, called time and brushed himself off. Very impressive. If he slides into third for no reason you know he is going to slide into home. And Bam, he DIVES in! Are you kidding me.

    When I saw the title, the first thought is "oh boy another shot of some kid out in the field". After opening up the thread I think that shot NAILED IT! A serious contender for MLB player of the year 2025.

    Great timing on the shot. Like it a lot.

    BTW, head first sliding in Little League is not allowed and an out...

    Added: It is a dangerous move. Players can break fingers/wrists on a bag. Worse, they can get a concussion or break their neck sliding into a fielder/catcher.

    Amazing. You will probably see him on and off over the years. Be fun to see how he progresses as a player.
