I know my computer is slow for todays standards but for the life of me I can't figure out why using Bridge and camera raw is way faster than LR4 R2 anyone wit similar issues? Got any ideas?

I should add my problem is in the library and develop module where it is slow to load
15 to 20 seconds eachtime the image needs to redraw

Think I have found my issue testing now. When I imported I don't think I had 1:1 preview selected reimporting some files in a test cartalog

Well the 1:1 preview was not the cause. just increased my cache from 15gb to 100gb and that seems to be the ticket changed redraw times to roughly 10 seconds at least tolerable. Next new faster system drive and install win 7 64 bit

I already have win 7 It is that I was stupid and installed 32bit and my hard drive is also small so going to put a bigger one in and install 64bit win 7. Turns out that LR4 will only use 2gb of ram I thought 32bit would use up to 4

After installing a 1 TB system drive and win7 64bit lightroom performs much better still not as good as Photoshop but very close.
