For my yesterday's shoot in Mojave I had to wake up at 3am, cover some 70 miles, pick up my model from a Lancaster suburb, and then drive some more to get to the chosen location in time.
Luckily, we did it:-)

Here is a couple from our very first series from that (very long!) day:

#2:

Technicalities: Canon 5D3 + 70-200L/2.8 IS USM

There will be more :-)

Then your 5d definitely needs its focus checked...

Actually, I might have a problem with it. In a few cases I think it was short focuing. I don't have a solid proof for that (could have been an operator mistake), just a feeling. The thing is - I almost never do this kind of mistakes. I would understand if I missed by a mile (like missing the eye and focusing on a distant landscape feature instead), I could not possibly be trying to "hit the eye" (while she was standing) and instead get the rocks in front of her on which she was standing...ne_nau.gif
Anyway, that body (which was scratched during the repairs) goes back to Irvine today. I mentioned potential AF issue, just in case.
