Winning Photos for Local Photo Contest

I entered a local photography contest this spring and won a first place in the "Hidden Pennypack" category and a second place in the "Water" category. This contest is a fund-raiser for the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust (near Philadelphia) that draws a fair number of local photographers. While I have a lot more to learn about photography and photo processing, I take this as a sign that I am making some progress! And I credit the dgrin community (Nikolai's assignments, the dgrin challenges, feedback on photos posted on other dgrin forums) with helping me on this journey.
