Lightroom 4.3 on Windows XP

Has anyone successfully installed Lightroom 4.3 on 32 bit version of Windows XP? I downloaded the over 700MB plus size file from the Adobe website. It told me that it needs Vista and up, when I tried to install on a XP machine. Isn't XP a Vista upgrade?:dunno. Anyways I installed it on my Windows 7 without any problem.

    XP is a lot older than Vista. When Vista first came out, it was such a disaster that some manufacturers offered an XP downgrade option, sometimes for an additional fee. Perhaps that's why you're confused.

    Ah that explains. I guess I need to build a budget to upgrade my PC first then. Thanks.
