One of my grandson's (Devin) was visiting during spring break, and I took his picture last night before he went home. You know, the total of 15 minutes to set-up and shoot deal :rofl

Wish I'd had more time for the pics, but you know how teenagers are :rolleyes

Very nice Randy - both are great, but I like this one better 'cause of the hat/edginess.

He has killer eyes and in the other shot without a hat he has a killer smile. I have two sons and I never get 15 minutes; more like five. The processing seems to reflect his look well! :D

Excellent work, Randy. You gotta be pleased all the way around.

It's good to see you active.

A fine result Randy. Just fine :D Great job on the conversion. Lot of impact there. Good looking young man and its nice to know he is also a good solid young adult.
As much as one can be at that age I suppose mwink.gif Having 3 I know there are times.... eek7.gif

The dark spot between his head gear and his left eyebrow, is that an issue spot? Everything else is so
clean that spot comes in as a little unexpected.
Are you using anything special for the BW conversion besides your inherent skills? :D

    Howdy Michael,

To tell you the truth, I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. Now it just jumps out at me eek7.gif
It's a shadow from the hat that blocked-up during processing.

    As to your second question:
I just use LR for processing almost exclusively now days.

    Just my usual "seat-o-pants" processing!
Push and twist all the dials, slides and buttons till something good happens rolleyes1.gif

As usual, thanks for your time to look at, and comment on my images!

Handsome young man--I bet you enjoyed your time with him. I think the image is terrific, Randy! The B&W choice is perfect and the edgier look is just right for his attitude and expression. For me, the hat is a definite plus with this processing. Great job on the lighting for such a quick setup. You know I am a big fan of your work but this has to be one of my favorites!

Hope all is well up north--We have to get a shoot planned for sometime this year. Are you listening, Craig?

That Craig fella is kind of hard to track down. I'll grab a rope and see if I can lasso him sometime soon!
