PS CS5 - Help

I use PS CS5 and I have accidentally clicked off the list of tool settings on the left hand side of photoshop. Can anyone please tell me what to click on to get the list of settings back.
In addition to this I am unable to control the size of brush (circle.) It is at its lowest setting at the moment and when I click on the keys to enlargen nothing happens.
Having been with photoshop for so many years I shouldn'e be asking these two questions which I apologise.

    Menu bar->Window Click on Tools at the bottom of the dropdown. That will fix your first problem.
