Backyard visitor. And bird ID help please.

Birds are not my strength but this fellow came by to inspect my cleanup efforts and stayed around long enough for me to grab a camera. Can anyone ID him? Thanks.

    Looks like a Robin too me here with the red breast. Good pose on the tree trunk.

    Lovely picture with the fallen logs and the bird just catching the sunlight.

    It looks like an American Robin to me too - curious that it was named after our European Robin, yet is a different species of bird.
