I am looking into buying a Canon Drop-in Type PL-C 52mm Filter for my 200mm lens.
What is the difference between the old version of this filter and the new version (WII) of it?
Is there any optical difference?
Thanks so much!

I find absolutely no history of a product called the "PL-C 52WI" by Canon?
The PL-C 52 is made to service the:
EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM
EF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM
EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM
EF 500mm f/4L IS USM
EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM
EF 600mm f/4L IS USM
EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM
The PL-C 52WII is made to service the:
EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM
If you have the Canon EF 200mm f/2L IS USM lens then it appears that you need the "PL-C 52" version.
