Event Favorites Breadcrumbs BROKEN - Help!

I need some help desperately as I have a number of clients who cannot navigate up / down the breadcrumb trail. I've notified the Smugmug team, but they haven't replied with a solution yet. Hoping someone here can figure it out.
-As I have for the past few years, I created galleries and added them to an EVENT so the client can tag their favorites.
-I've setup the client as a participant (Stacey)

-When they click the link, they are taken to their personal event page
-When they select favorites and "see all favorites" and try to get back to their event page via the breadcrumb - they are taken to a BLANK PAGE. Now, from my logged in view, it takes them to Stacey's Favorites folder and CANNOT get back to the main event page. DEAD END!!!
I would be SO GRATEFUL for someone to work with me on this as it's a SERIOUS BUG!!
