Galleries Sort by Name has a little bug

I use the Galleries "Sort By" Name option with Descending and it sorts my galleries like this :

20130622-weekend
...
20130401-blabla
...
20130101-newyear
201306-misc


I'd expect the sort to be more like this :

20130622-weekend
201306-misc
...
20130401-blabla
...
20130101-newyear
...

what do you think ?

    I logged the same issue. This is what I emailed.


    "Great job on the new site design and customization options

    Windows has two sort orders for files. The default setting is that it recognizes numbers embedded in a file name. The second option, which needs to be toggled to override the default, is not to recognize the embedded numbers as numbers but as text. The filename sort order of the legacy Smugmug used the text sort option and your documentation confirms this. The new Smugmug filename sort option for galleries recognizes embedded numbers and this can create a problem for users such as myself who named their files with a text sort option. The problem occurs with embedded numbers of variable length. The sort example in your documentation is how the legacy Smugmug worked but not how the new Smugmug works.

    Suggest that the filename sort have two options, 1. text sort and 2. embedded numbers recognized.
